（中央社記者林宏翰苗栗28日電）旅美棒球好手王建民今天在苗栗全國花園鄉村俱樂部，出席職棒球員工會舉辦的高爾夫公益賽，他說在美國很少打高爾夫，最好的成績87桿。
頂著攝氏12度的低溫，跨世代職棒球星郭泰源、陳金鋒、王建民、彭政閔、林智勝、高志綱、胡金龍等人一早聚集在高球場，為基層棒球及家扶基金會募款。
今年重返美國職棒大聯盟，王建民11月底返台後，除了日前在屏東的棒球訓練營，今天是第二個公開活動，一現身有如人形立牌，到處有人要求合照。
王建民過去也曾為早產兒揮桿，對於今天打高爾夫的心情，他說「每次參加公益賽都很開心，出一點力氣幫助弱勢的團體，讓他們得到更多的幫助」。
王建民在美國少有機會打高爾夫，回台灣比較有機會與朋友球敘，最近一次打高爾夫是3個星期前。他今天固定在第10洞當關主，與球友較量開球。
球場方面有意安排，王建民與旅美高爾夫好手潘政琮一起打球，王建民聽到之後笑說「如果有機會的話，我自己也沒有打這麼好，純粹好玩」。
問他最好的成績是幾桿，王建民說「最好打87桿，開球最少有250碼，胡金龍開球比我遠很多」。1051228
